Turas Eireann was the perfect way for us to experience our first time in Ireland! Dermot was a fantastic guide, and made our trip comfortable and relaxing. He is incredibly knowledgeable and has that local history behind him, which we valued. We told him what we wanted and he took care of the rest. This was my fourth trip to Ireland. I spent the first three with hands white-knuckled on the steering wheel and my eyes like a deer in the headlights trying to stay on the left and between hedgerows and on-coming sheep, cows and traffic. Since there were five of us this year and rental cars in Ireland are famous for holding five passengers but only three suitcases, I realized we had to do something different. That's when I found TURAS EIREANN.
There are not enough superlatives to describe what a wonderful nine days we spent with Dermot. We had a relaxing, informative and, most of all, FUN trip. Plan your itinerary or leave it up to him. He's flexible. His knowledge of Irish history and desire to share it is wonderful.
I could go on and on, but suffice it to say, by the end of the trip Dermot was a member of our family
